Within This Expanse
Works from the Vantage Points Collective
Press Release
Vantage Points is pleased to announce Within This Expanse, a multimedia exhibition of twenty-two artists prompted by a variety of observations that coalesce across difference and distance. Seen together, the selected works consider expanse as a tender and anxious representational space.
Within This Expanse hinges on the connections and tensions between materiality and immateriality and embodies the play between boundedness and infinitude. The artists collectively celebrate the cross-pollination between image-based works, textile works, painting, drawing and sculpture. The exhibition asks that we give ourselves expansive permission to imagine and extrapolate.
Curated by: Alexis Caruso, Kollin Kirven, Jon McJunkin, and Jessica Russell.
